Bhubaneswar, July 25 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday hailed union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for what he described as a principled decision to resign, saying it reflected the leader's commitment to moral values and public service above the pursuit of office.
In a post on social media platform X, Majhi said Pradhan's decision to step down, placing larger social interest and ethical values above his ministerial position, demonstrated his high standards of integrity and principled leadership.
The Chief Minister credited Pradhan with ushering in several transformative reforms during his tenure as union Education Minister, most notably the implementation of the historic National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
