Bhubaneswar, June 17 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday expressed serious concern over errors detected in newly introduced Odia textbooks for Classes I to VIII and warned that strict action would be taken against those found responsible.
To investigate the issue, the Chief Minister constituted a three-member high-level committee under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner and directed it to submit its report within seven days.
Majhi issued the directions while chairing a high-level review meeting at Lok Seva Bhavan on discrepancies identified in textbooks used in state government schools.
