Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday approved an increase in the Daily Duty Call-up Allowance (DCA) for Home Guards from Rs 639 to Rs 650 per day.
According to an official release issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), the revised allowance will come into effect from January 1, 2026.
The latest hike follows an earlier enhancement of the DCA from Rs 623 to Rs 639, which came into force on July 1, 2025.
The decision has been taken in view of the state government's recent approval of an additional two percent Dearness Allowance (DA) for regular government employees with retrospective effect from January 1, 2026.
