Bhubaneswar, July 18 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday called upon the newly appointed Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of the Special Development Councils (SDCs) to work with dedication at the grassroots level and ensure that the benefits of development reach the most deprived tribal communities.
Interacting with the newly appointed Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of the 23 Special Development Councils from different districts of the state, the Chief Minister said politics should not be viewed as a means to enjoy power but as an instrument to serve the poorest and most marginalised sections of society.
