Bhubaneswar, June 6 -- The Odisha government today approved 24 industrial investment proposals worth Rs 3,793.33 crore that are expected to generate 19,924 employment opportunities across 14 districts of the state.
The projects were cleared at the 147th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg.
According to officials, the approved proposals span diverse sectors including textiles and apparel, tourism and hospitality, steel and metal downstream industries, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, logistics, food processing and consumer products, reflecting the state's strategy to promote balanced and employment-intensive industrial growth.
