Bhubaneswar, July 14 -- The Odisha Cabinet on Tuesday approved the continuation of the State Agriculture Policy subsidy scheme for another five years, from 2026-27 to 2030-31, with a total outlay of Rs 2,496.40 crore.
The decision was taken in view of the overwhelming response to the scheme and the need to promote agricultural diversification, adoption of modern technologies and high-value agriculture in the state.
The State Sector Scheme, "Subsidy under State Agriculture Policy", was launched to promote agri-entrepreneurship and facilitate the establishment of commercial agri-enterprises by providing capital investment subsidies to eligible entrepreneurs.
