Bhubaneswar, Aug. 12 -- The Odisha Cabinet on Wednesday approved the third amendment to the Odisha Semiconductor Manufacturing and Fabless Policy, 2023, aimed at making the State's semiconductor policy more attractive to investors and creating a resilient, end-to-end semiconductor ecosystem.
The amendment seeks to expand the scope of incentives beyond semiconductor manufacturing and fabless design to cover critical segments of the semiconductor value chain, including equipment manufacturing, semiconductor-grade chemicals, specialty gases, advanced materials, supply-chain components and research and development in advanced technologies.
