Bhubaneswar, May 22 -- In a first-of-its-kind action in Odisha, the State Advisory Board has confirmed a preventive detention order against a habitual woman drug offender under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PITNDPS) Act.
The detention order was issued against Jharana Panda alias Geeta Behera, wife of late Dillip Panda of Gokha Sahi near Kaniapokhari under Baselisahi police station limits in Puri district.
