Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- The Odisha Assembly witnessed high drama for the second consecutive day as relentless protests by Opposition members forced adjournments, bringing legislative business to a standstill.
The House was first adjourned till 11:30 AM and later until 4:00 PM as members of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and the Indian National Congress (Congress) created a ruckus, disrupting proceedings from the very start of Question Hour.
The commotion began at 10:30 AM when Opposition members entered the well of the House carrying placards and banners, raising slogans against the government.
