Bhubaneswar, Sept. 2 -- The Odisha Government has stepped up enforcement measures to ensure smooth and adequate supply of fertilisers to farmers during the ongoing Kharif 2026-27 season and prevent hoarding, black marketing and diversion.
Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment Minister K V Singh Deo said the government has adopted a zero-tolerance approach towards irregularities in the distribution and sale of fertilisers.
District- and block-level enforcement squads have been constituted to check black marketing, hoarding, diversion and the sale of substandard fertilisers.
