Kendrapara, June 11 -- The Odisha Excise Department has suspended two officials of Pattamundai Excise Station for allegedly assaulting a youth and misusing their official authority during a raid in Kendrapara district.
Excise Commissioner P. Anvesha Reddy ordered the suspension of Station Officer-in-Charge (SI) Chhayakanta Nayak and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pradip Kumar Malik after an inquiry found prima facie evidence of misconduct and violation of service conduct rules.
