Bhubaneswar, Aug. 22 -- Students of agricultural science at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University gained first-hand exposure to farming practices, rural livelihoods and the challenges confronting farming communities through a Village Attachment Programme conducted under the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) initiative in 11 villages across three blocks of Khordha district.
Organised by the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS), the programme was aimed at bridging the gap between classroom learning and field realities by placing students in direct engagement with farmers, rural households and other community stakeholders.
