Bhubaneswar, Sept. 1 -- Jai Narayan Pankaj, a 2005-batch IPS officer, on Tuesday took charge as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Southern Range, succeeding Niti Shekhar.
Senior IPS officer, Pankaj was earlier serving as IGP, Intelligence, Odisha. The Southern Range comprises Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal and Boudh districts.
