Bhubaneswar, May 3 -- PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is slowly beginning to pay dividends across Northern Odisha, with thousands of consumers substantially reducing electricity expenses through rooftop solar adoption.
TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has accelerated rooftop solar installations under the Utility Led Aggregation (ULA) model, particularly in rural areas. The initiative has proven especially beneficial during peak summer demand.
