Bhubaneswar, Sept. 11 -- Around 4,000 personnel of the Odisha Special Striking Force (OSSF), deployed across the state primarily for anti-Naxal operations, will get enhanced insurance and other financial benefits under a Corporate Salary Package offered by the State Bank of India (SBI).
The Odisha Police Operations Wing on Friday signed an MoU with SBI for the package covering personnel of the force's four battalions. The OSSF personnel, drawn from ex-Army and ex-CAPF ranks, are deployed in remote and difficult areas of the state.
The package provides Rs 50 lakh accident cover, air ambulance reimbursement up to Rs 10 lakh, child higher education cover up to Rs 10 lakh and plastic surgery expenses up to Rs 10 lakh. It also includes family ...
