Bhubaneswar, June 17 -- : Three people lost their lives after being struck by lightning in separate incidents in Odisha's Ganjam and Dhenkanal districts, official sources said on Wednesday.
According to reports, two deaths occurred in Ganjam district and one in Dhenkanal district on Tuesday.
Murali Sahoo of Lanjipalli village under Sheragada block in Ganjam district was killed after lightning struck while he was working in his agricultural field.
In another incident in Ganjam, Kanha Reddy of Dashipur village under Digapahandi area died after being struck by lightning while playing cricket in a field near his house.
