Bhubaneswar, April 22 -- As the State continues to reel under LPG shortage amid West Asia crisis, the State government has cracked whips on black marketers by registering as many as 397 cases against the hoarders under the Essential Commodities Act.
As part of the enforcement drive, inspections have been conducted at 2,746 locations across all 30 districts of the state so far. These include LPG agencies as well as other suspected locations. During these operations, a total of 5,308 cylinders have been seized.
