Bhubaneswar, June 3 -- Odisha's Ganjam district has once again earned national recognition by securing three prestigious awards under the Panchayat Sustainable Development framework, reaffirming its leadership in grassroots governance and rural development.
Official sources said on Wednesday that two Gram Panchayats from Ganjam district have been honoured with the Deendayal Upadhyay Panchayat Sustainable Development Awards, while Ganjam district itself has received the coveted Nanaji Deshmukh Sarvottam Panchayat Sustainable Development Award.
Notably, out of the four Panchayats and one district from Odisha selected for these national honours, Ganjam alone has bagged three awards.
