Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- The high-level committee constituted by the Odisha Government for administrative and ritual reforms of the 11th century Lingaraj temple, the famous ASI-protected Shavite shrine in Bhubaneswar, has recommended a series of measures including the streamlining of temple rituals and discipline, repair of the sanctum sanctorum besides the resolution of land-related issues.
The second interim report of the Committee, chaired by Justice Durga Prasanna Choudhury on the affairs of Lingaraj Temple, was submitted today to the Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan.
