Bhubaneswar, July 6 -- A Biju Janata Dal (BJD) delegation, headed by former Minister and the party's Vice-President Sanjay Dasburma, will visit several villages in Odisha's Keonjhar district to meet the bereaved families of the Juang tribal members who lost their lives in the recent ammonia gas leak at a shrimp processing factory in Tamil Nadu.

According to BJD sources, the victims belonged to the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG), the Juang community, and had migrated from different villages under Harichandanpur block in Keonjhar district in search of livelihood. Fifteen members of the community died in the tragic gas leak while working at the seafood processing unit.
