Bhubaneswar, June 14 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today launched a fresh attack on the BJP government over the reported theft of sandalwood trees from Jaydev Bhawan, alleging a serious security lapse in one of the state's most sensitive government zones.
In a post on X, BJD leader Lenin Mohanty expressed concern over the incident, pointing out that Jaydev Bhawan is located directly opposite the Odisha Secretariat and adjacent to the Traffic Police Office, making it a high-security area in the heart of the capital.
