Bhubaneswar, May 31 -- In an initiative towards putting in place a future-ready transport network for Odisha's fastest-growing urban and industrial belt, the State Government on Saturday reviewed the progress of an Asian Development Bank (ADB)-supported initiative to prepare a comprehensive mobility blueprint for the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Puri-Paradip Economic Region (BCPPER).
The review meeting, chaired by Housing and Urban Development Department Additional Chief Secretary Usha Padhee, assessed the preparation of a Comprehensive Regional Mobility Plan (RMP) for the BCPPER region and a Statewide Bus Services Transformation Roadmap aimed at strengthening public transport systems across Odisha.
