Lucknow, Feb. 12 -- Narendra Kashyap, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes Welfare and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, today stated that the Yogi government is seriously concerned about the educational interests of students from backward classes.

He said that the current income limit for scholarships is Rs 2 lakh, which was increased from Rs 1 lakh during the previous government, and the government is continuing to maintain this.
