Ranchi, Feb. 26 -- The issue of OBC scholarships was raised in the Jharkhand Assembly during the seventh day of the ongoing budget session, where members also held a detailed discussion over grants provided for livestock in the state.
Legislator Janardan Paswan of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) expressed dissatisfaction with the reply of the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Department and sought clarity on whether tractors and cows supplied to Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) were given as grants or loans.
