Mumbai, Sept. 4 -- Maharashtra Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, who is the OBC face of the Sunetra Pawar-led NCP, criticised the Fadnavis government's move to concede to Maratha reservation quota agitator Manoj Jarange Patil's demands on Friday, and reminded about the important role of the OBC community in enabling the BJP-led Mahayuti ruling alliance to come to power.
Bhujbal's statements led Maratha reservation agitator Jarange Patil, who completed seven days of his indefinite protest fast on Friday, to counterattack the OBC leader, even as he continued his hunger strike at his native Antarwali Sarati village and stayed firm about his demands.
