Jalna, May 24 -- OBC leader Prof. Laxman Hake has accused the Maharashtra government and the Bharatiya Janata Party of treating the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community unfairly, despite the community's major role in expanding the BJP's reach across the state beyond urban areas.
Hake also criticised BJP MLA Prasad Lad over his recent meeting with Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil, who has announced a fresh hunger strike from May 30 demanding reservation benefits. According to Hake, Lad neither understands Jarange's demands nor the reservation issue itself.
