Mumbai, July 11 -- OBC leader Laxman Hake today launched a fresh attack on Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, calling him "a casteist and a looter" and accused him of ignoring the interests of the Other Backward Classes community.

He said "We have no regrets in calling Ajit Pawar a casteist and a looter."

Speaking to reporters, Hake accused Pawar of systematically neglecting the interests of the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community. "Ajit Pawar denied hostel facilities to OBC students, refused scholarships crucial for their future, and withheld funds meant for marginalized and underprivileged communities," Hake alleged.
