Wellington, May 17 -- New Zealand, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup defending champions, had a fruitful outcome in their ODI series in England.

After losing the game by the barest of margins, and missing out on a result in the second encounter due to rain, the White Ferns picked themselves up in the third game and secured a 17-run win (DLS) to draw the ODI series.

Apart from giving momentum for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup, this also gives them points on the ICC Women's Championship 2025-29 standings. New Zealand are currently atop the standings.
