Dharamshala, Aug. 1 -- Police in Himachal Pradesh's Nurpur Police District intensified their drive against illegal mining by impounding a JCB machine and taking action against five tractors involved in unauthorised mining activities in separate operations.
According to an official statement issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Nurpur, the action was carried out as part of the district police's ongoing campaign to curb illegal mining.
