Dharamshala, July 20 -- Nurpur Police have arrested a woman who had been declared a Proclaimed Offender (PO) in two cases registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, marking a major breakthrough in the district's anti-drug campaign.
According to an official release issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Nurpur, the district's PO Cell arrested Rajesh Kumari (50), wife of Rakesh Kumar and a resident of Tamota village in Indora tehsil of Kangra district, from Tibba in Ludhiana, Punjab, on July 18.
The accused was wanted in FIR No. 123/2019 and FIR No. 38/2020, both registered under Section 21 of the NDPS Act at Indora Police Station. She had earlier been declared a Proclaimed Offender by the com...
