Hyderabad, April 11 -- NTR Memorial Trust Managing Trustee Nara Bhuvaneswari on Saturday announced that the NTR Memorial Trust will organise a Thalassemia Run in Hyderabad on May 10 to raise awareness about the genetic disorder and promote voluntary blood donation.
Addressing a press meet, she said the event will feature 3K, 5K and 10K runs at Jalavihar, Necklace Road, and called upon donors, philanthropists and the public to participate in support of children suffering from thalassemia.
She thanked former Indian cricketer Mithali Raj, brand ambassador of the initiative, for attending the meet and supporting the cause.
