Hyderabad, July 23 -- The National Students' union of India (NSUI), Telangana unit, on Thursday called for a statewide bandh of schools, colleges and universities on July 24 to protest the alleged NEET-2026 paper leak, the lathi-charge on students in Delhi and what it termed the Centre's failure to address issues in the education sector.
Addressing the media, NSUI Telangana State President Yadavalli Venkataswamy said the bandh would be organised in coordination with student organisations, including SFI, AISF, PDSU, AIFDS, AISB and AIPSU.
He appealed to students, parents, teachers, educational institutions and the public to support the protest.
