Dimapur, March 21 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma-led National People's Party (NPP) today issued a show-cause notice to MLA and leader of Nagaland NPP Legislature Party Nuklutoshi Longkumer for reportedly going against the party's officially nominated candidate I Abenjang for the forthcoming Koridang assembly constituency by-election slated for April 9.
The notice issued by Paknga Bage, NPP national general secretary (org), asked Longkumer to reply within seven days why disciplinary proceedings should not be initiated against him and why his conduct should not be held as anti-party activity within the meaning of the NPP constitution.
