Chennai, Nov. 17 -- Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) and Maharashtra Institution for Transformation (MITRA) to explore possibilities of cooperation in co-development of nuclear-based power generation plants in the western state.
The MoU was signed in the presence of the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis by Bhuwan Chandra Pathak, Chairman and Managing Director, NPCIL, Radhakrishnan B., IAS, Chairman and Managing Director, MAHAGENCO and Aman Mittal, Jt-CEO, MITRA.
