Lucknow, June 15 -- Farmers who dedicated their land for the construction of the Noida International Airport in Jewar arrived in Lucknow on Monday, travelling to the state capital on the first flight operated from Jewar to Lucknow. They were accorded a grand welcome and honoured at the Chief Minister's residence.
The farmers shared their experiences, presented mementos to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and expressed their gratitude. A total of 170 farmers, including 28 women, undertook the journey.
