Milano/Cortina, Feb. 23 -- Norway finished on top of the medal standings at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, delivering another dominant performance as the curtain came down on the prestigious winter sporting event.

Norway secured first place with 40 medals, including 18 gold, 12 silver, and 10 bronze, underlining its supremacy in winter sports disciplines such as cross-country skiing and biathlon, as per the Milano Cortina 2026.

The United States finished second in the standings with 32 medals (11 gold, 11 silver, and 10 bronze), registering one of its strongest Winter Olympics campaigns in recent years with success across freestyle skiing, speed skating, and snowboarding.
