Jammu, Nov. 19 -- General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, today inaugurated 'Op Drishti', a mega cataract surgery eye camp at Command Hospital Northern Command, Udhampur.
The camp is being organised in collaboration with the surgical team of Army Hospital Research and Referral, New Delhi from November 19 to 22.
The event is being conducted under the aegis of Headquarter Northern Command and Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Services.
'Operation Drishti' is being conducted as part of Operation Sadbhavna and is another step towards benefitting the people of J&K in the most critical sector of healthcare. The event shall further strengthen the bond between the people and Amy.
