Non-vegetarian food will not be sold on Kanwar routes during Sawan month in Kashi

Manoj BhadraVaranasi, July 26 -- The sale of meat, fish, and eggs will be strictly prohibited on the Kanwar routes during the month of Sawan in Kashi.

The Food Safety and Administration Department has issued guidelines to all restaurant operators and shopkeepers in this regard.

Assistant Commissioner of the Food Safety Department, Kaushalendra Sharma, stated on Sunday that, as per the department's instructions, the sale of meat, fish, and eggs will be strictly prohibited on major Kanwar routes, including the route from Kachhwa to Rohaniya Police Station, Rohaniya Police Station to Laxmi Police Station, the route to the Shultankeshwar Mahadev Temple, and the route to the Markandeya Mahadev Temple on the Ghazipur Road.
