Bengaluru, Aug. 14 -- Bengaluru police on Friday clarified that reports claiming videos were found in a mobile phone and pen drive recovered from the prison premises where former MP Prajwal Revanna was lodged were "far from the truth".

DCP of Electronic City Sub-Division Narayan said the prohibited items recovered during a search at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison had been seized, sealed and handed over to the investigating officer.

A mobile phone and a 32 GB pen drive were recovered during a search conducted in the prison on August 11. Two other mobile phones were also found in the security section barracks, taking the number of phones recovered during the search to three.
