Hyderabad, April 28 -- Amid concerns over fuel availability, Telangana Civil Supplies Commissioner Stephen Raveendra on Tuesday reassured the public that petrol and diesel stocks across the State are abundant, with supplies comfortably exceeding current demand.

In a press release, he stated that on April 27, a total of 29,939 kilolitres of petrol and diesel were supplied across the State. This was significantly higher than the average daily demand, which stands at 5,883 kilolitres for petrol and 7,348 kilolitres for diesel.

Providing a detailed break-up, the Commissioner said that 11,490 kilolitres of petrol and 18,449 kilolitres of diesel were supplied to consumers on the day, ensuring uninterrupted availability.
