Tirumala, Sept. 13 -- The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Sunday clarified that ' no restrictions have been imposed on the number of private vehicles permitted to travel to Tirumala' and appealed to devotees not to believe false information being circulated on social media.
TTD said reports claiming that only 15,000 private vehicles would be allowed to Tirumala per day, after which vehicles would be stopped at the checkpoint, were completely false.
The temple body clarified that no such decision had been taken regarding limiting the number of private vehicles travelling to Tirumala.
