Thiruvananthapuram, May 27 -- The Kerala Police and the State Home Department had no prior information regarding the Enforcement Directorate (ED)'s raids at various locations in connection with the CMRL-Exalogic case, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said today.
He said that no intimation of the raids had been given to the State authorities and that the police were not sought for any assistance during the operation. The ED officials carried out the searches with the support of central forces, he informed.
Chennithala further said he had spoken to the DGP and the Home Secretary on the matter, and both had confirmed that no information related to the raids had been shared with the Kerala Police.
