Mumbai, March 23 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday told the Legislative Assembly that strict action would be taken in the Ashok Kharat case, asserting that "no one found guilty will be spared" amid mounting pressure from the Opposition and Congress leaders.
Describing the case as "extremely serious," Fadnavis said the accused, Ashok Kharat, had allegedly misused claims of "supernatural powers" to exploit and commit serious offences against several women.
He emphasised that the nature of the allegations made the case deeply concerning.
