Hyderabad, Aug. 24 -- Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday said there was no need for people to panic over the inclusion of lands in the Section 22A prohibited list and assured that genuine cases would be resolved on a fast-track basis.
Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat, Ponguleti said the government had been reviewing the issue daily for the past four weeks.
A toll-free helpline received 1,162 calls, of which 980 were unique cases after eliminating repeat calls.
Most complaints related to agricultural and non-agricultural land, particularly in Rangareddy, Medchal and Sangareddy districts. Genuine Section 22A registration issues were being cleared within 24 to 36 hours, he said.
