Hyderabad, June 20 -- BRS senior leader Shaik Abdullah Sohail on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Congress government in Telangana, accusing it of sidelining the Muslim community despite their decisive support in the 2023 Assembly elections.
Speaking to the media, Sohail expressed deep resentment over the Congress government's failure to include even a single Muslim minister in the cabinet, marking the first time since 1952 that the community has no representation in the state cabinet, Assembly, Lok Sabha, or Rajya Sabha.
He called it a "historic betrayal" and accused the government of erasing Muslim political presence and ignoring key welfare promises.
