Dharamshala, April 8 -- The National Health Mission Himachal Pradesh has clarified that misleading and baseless information regarding the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is being circulated on some media platforms and social media.
Certain posts have falsely claimed that girls would not be able to travel abroad without HPV vaccination and that a vaccination certificate has been made mandatory for foreign travel.
The Mission has categorically stated that no such guideline or directive has been issued by either the Government of India or the Himachal Pradesh government.
It further clarified that HPV vaccination or any related certificate is not required for international travel.
