Hyderabad, April 29 -- union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday clarified that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG in Telangana, urging people not to believe rumours circulating on social media.
Speaking to the media after a review meeting, he said fuel supplies have been significantly increased to meet current demand. The state, which usually receives around 6,400 kilolitres of fuel daily, is now getting about 10,300 kilolitres. In Hyderabad city, supply has doubled from 3,200 to 6,400 kilolitres.
He added that against the normal supply of 8,000 kilolitres, the current supply ranges between 15,500 and 19,300 kilolitres, ensuring adequate availability across the state.
