Jammu, June 14 -- Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta today alleged a complete absence of democratic space in Pakistan and systematic suppression of people's voices in the Pakistan-occupied-Jammu-Kashmir (PoJK).
Speaking to reporters in Jammu, Gupta said the ongoing developments in PoJK highlight deep-rooted governance failures and growing public distress under Pakistan's administration.
He asserted that the situation reflects a broader pattern of political repression within the country.
"You can see that there is no such thing as democracy in Pakistan. People's voices have always been suppressed there. Now you can understand that the economic crisis there is also a reason," he said.
