Chhapra, Sept. 4 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inaugurated and laid thefoundation stones for 27 development projects worth Rs 1,203.81 crore in Saran district.
Before laying the foundation stone at Ratanpur Bin Tolia, the Chief Minister inspected theongoing road widening work between Jagdam College and Khaira Bin Tolia.
He said the project, once completed, would significantly reduce traffic congestion in Chhapra city and improve urban connectivity, especially with the upcoming new bus stand near Bin Tolia.
During the programme, Kumar also interacted with a large gathering of pension beneficiaries, Jeevika Didis (women from self-help groups), and other local residents.
