Patna, Aug. 31 -- Bihar minister Sunil Kumar on Monday said former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had worked to bring exploited and deprived sections of society into the mainstream of development during his 20 years in power.

Speaking to reporters after hearing the grievances of people from across the state at a public hearing programme organised at the Janata Dal (United) state office, Kumar said Nitish Kumar had identified the most deprived sections of society and created the Mahadalit category to ensure that they benefited from targeted welfare schemes.
